Team Cooking Program
Improve your group's dynamic or stage a memorable
party with one of our made-to-order cooking classes. These lively
classes encourage teamwork and cook up delicious fun for participants
young and old. We use cooking as a way to encourage and improve
collaborative effort and team building to create a unique learning
experience.
Before entering the kitchen, we organize a series
of activities and workshops that hone team skills to enhance communication,
collaboration, and effectiveness. They focus on team planning, effective
use of resources, leadership, and recognition of team and individual
accomplishments
The team format is a lunch or dinner where cooking
is part of the entertainment, these special events are great for
corporate team building, as well as, personal celebrations, such
as birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, and special reunions.
Our
staff is prepared for both the eager novice and the experienced
home cook or professional. A typical party runs 2 ½ to 3
hours including hor d' oeuvres, a sit down, full service three-course
dinner where all enjoy the meal that they have just made.
Equipment and Kitchen Tools:
You may bring your own knives to the class, however, we provide
all the equipment and tools that you need. Our kitchen is outfitted
with an array of top-quality kitchen tools including authentic Mexican
comales, molinos and other items. We recommend that you wear comfortable,
casual clothing, for safety students should wear closed-toe shoes
for all classes. You will receive a recipe for every dish prepared
in class.
